Special Topics:

 

      HWC MACT - Permanent Replacement Standards will

      include speakers from the USEPA and industry presenting

      information on the new Phase I and Phase II HWC MACT

      Standards.  Mike Galbraith of USEPA will present information

      Phase I and II HWC MACT Standards and the methodologies

      used to develop them.  Sasha Gerhard of USEPA will discuss

      implementation (Phase I and II, NIC, etc.) and permitting

      issues.  The session will include industry speakers and a panel

      to answer questions.

      HWC MACT - Implementation of the Interim Standards will

      provide an open forum for industry to share experiences in

      implementing the HWC Interim Standards.  A speaker will

      introduce each topic.  This will be followed by an open

     discussion with the panel and the audience on this topic.  The

     audience will be encouraged to share their experiences with how

     their facilities have addressed these issues.  The issues will

     include: Startup, shutdown, and malfunction plans;

     Recordkeeping and reporting requirements; Automatic waste

     feed cutoffs; Feedstream analysis plans; Transition from RCRA

     permits to Title V permits; Training requirements; Performance

     testing; and Others (audience suggestions).
